Anyone can create a course, and most online courses are pretty bad.
To help you understand why these courses are different, I wanted to share the beliefs behind them:
Teach from personal experience. I have a very high bar for the topics I consider teaching. I will only cover topics where I have years of hands-on practical experience, deep introspection, and feedback from the real world. These are not rehashed blog posts.
Focus on the hardest parts. Many parts of content marketing have been covered ad nauseam in blogs and videos. I have little to add on these topics and prefer to focus on the areas that are harder, less explored, and more valuable.
Share timeless advice. Many courses end up outdated by the time they're published. I focus on timeless theory and universal principles to create courses as useful tomorrow as they are today.
Be deeply personal. I try to bring myself and my beliefs to teaching. My courses are a little counter-intuitive, very intellectually rigorous, and laced throughout with a sense of play.
Learn at your own pace. Too many courses ruin the experience by being too prescriptive with the lesson structure and schedule. Here, you'll get lifetime access to video lessons that you can work through at your own pace.
"I already applied your teachings to an outline I wrote and got this feedback: 'Thanks for this – it looks amazing. No notes.' I think that's the first time that's ever happened."
